The Practice has been involved in most recognised forms of competitive and negotiated construction contracts together with traditional and fast-track methods of procurement, including :

  • traditional tendered contracts with bills of quantities and approximate quantities

  • management contracts

  • design and build contracts

  • design and manage contracts

  • specifications and drawings

  • schedules of rates

  • serial tendering

  • prime cost contracts

  • target cost contracts

  • measured term contracts

  • package deal and “turnkey” contracts

  • On a number of projects it has been necessary for the Practice to draft the formal conditions of contract where standard conditions did not suit the Employer’s requirements.

Often, particularly on design and build package type contracts, the Practice has been retained as the sole professional appointed by the Employer and acted as the Employer’s Agent.
